Meet the Doctors

Our Board Certified Dermatologist are ready to help with your dermatologic issues.

Dr. Mark F. Baucom was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and spent his childhood in the southeast.  He graduated from Emory University and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.  He continued at Emory to complete his medical school, internship and residency training.  He was Chief Resident in his final year of dermatology training.  He completed his Mohs fellowship with Dr. John Zitelli in Pittsburgh.  He returned to private practice in Atlanta in 1995.  He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Emory and regularly works with the dermatology residents and medical students.  He is also a Clinical Instructor for Chatham University's physician assistant program.  Dr. Baucom has lectured on liposuction and advanced surgical reconstruction.
 
Dr. David B. Pharis was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana.  He received his Bachelor of Science with distinction from Purdue University where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.  He later graduated with highest honors from Baylor College of Medicine where he received the Debakey Scholar Award for the top student in his graduating class.  Dr. Pharis completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Baylor and then came to Emory University for residency in Dermatology where he served as Chief Resident.  Dr. Pharis completed a fellowship in Mohs surgery with Drs. John Zitelli and David Brodland in Pittsburgh.  Dr. Pharis' clinical interests include Mohs surgery, advanced facial reconstruction and cosmetic surgery of the skin.
